Loire Valley & Languedoc-Roussillon, February 9
Secret Cellar, Tunbridge Wells
Sold Out, waiting list only
The Loire Valley offers crisp, pure Sauvignon Blancs from the celebrated villages of Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé, among others, and a diverse range of Chenin Blancs from bone dry though to deliciously sweet, as well as some racy, vibrant reds. In contrast, the Languedoc-Roussillon incorporates warmer climate regions such as Corbières, Faugères & Limoux. Whites from these areas tend to be more voluptuous and reds more robust and powerful. This will be an evening of contrast and an opportunity to learn more about French wines.
