The Wine School is a series of tutored wine tastings that have been running since 2016.  Today the tastings are held in Forest Row, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks.  The evenings give guests the opportunity to learn more about wine in a relaxed and informal setting.  

 

The tastings have been held at Secret Cellar in Forest Row since May 2019 but in July 2026 we moved to the Peter Griffiths Room at Forest Row Village Hall.  The wines are still selected from Secret Cellar's extensive range and you can pick up your favourite wines from the tastings at the Pop Up Shop we run at the hall for each event.

Each Wine School tasting includes a minimum of 8 different wines, some cheeses and charcuterie, tasting sheets and fully tutored tasting.  I show a vast array of styles and talk through why wines cost, look, smell and taste the way they do.  Each session explores a different theme and you can attend as many or as few as you like.  Guests either attend on their own or in couples and small groups and there is plenty of time to catch up with each other while enjoying the wines we taste.

Time: Wine School tastings start at 7.30pm & finish by 10.30pm

Bookings: Email, text or call me to book and pay for your place: jo@winesavvy.info or 07967 814 224.  Following a booking, places will be held for 7 days and will be confirmed only after receipt of payment.  Places cancelled less than 6 weeks before the tasting cannot be refunded.
