Italy is one of the more complex wine regions of the world, with a plethora of indigenous grape varieties to taste.  In 2026 we are going to delve deeper into more specific areas of the country, starting with the North.  Producing wines such as Barolo, Barbera, Gavi, Amarone, Valpolicella, Soave and some very fine Pinot Gris, the cooler, northern section of Italy has many contrasting styles to offer. Later in the year we will look at Central and Southern Italy.
