General

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
In all terms and conditions, the expressions 'we', 'us' or 'our' refer to Wine Savvy and the expressions 'you' or 'your' refer to clients of Wine Savvy.
All customers must be 18 years of age or older. By booking a tasting you confirm that you are over 18 and, if you are purchasing tickets on behalf of others, you confirm that all attendees are 18 years of age or older.

Payment & Cancellations – Ticketed Events i.e. Wine School Tastings

Payment is preferably by bank transfer, but cash is also accepted.

Bookings for a single event require payment of the full ticket price, payable at the time of booking, within 7 days of receipt of invoice.

Bookings for more than one event can either be paid for upon receipt of invoice or according to a payment schedule. If the invoice includes a payment schedule, then each tasting is payable 8 weeks prior to the event and within 7 days of receipt of invoice.

If you are unable to attend the event you may transfer your ticket to a third party at cost. Please notify us if you make a transfer.

The ticket payment will be retained if you decide to cancel within 45 days of the date of the event. Where possible we will assist in trying to re-sell a cancelled ticket. If the ticket is re-sold you will be refunded 100% of the ticket cost.

Payment & Cancellations – Private Events

Payment is by cash or electronic bank transfer only.

Any variations to the number of attendees, which must be stated at the time of booking, must be notified to us as soon as possible and no later than 10 working days before the event.

If you cause any breakages, loss or damage to our equipment during the event the full replacement cost will be charged to you.

Bookings require a deposit of 25% of the total fee, payable at the time of booking, with the balance due 21 days prior to the event.

A full refund will be issued where you cancel within 7 days of completing your booking providing your event is more than 21 days away.

Your deposit will be retained where you cancel after 8 days of completing your booking but more than 21 days before the event.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations notified within 21 days of the event.

Allergy Information & Special Dietary Requirements

All food served by Wine Savvy is prepared in a kitchen where nuts and other allergens are used and traces of allergens can be found. We cannot provide an allergen-free environment for the preparation of dishes.

If you or any of your guests have a food allergy or intolerance, please advise us of this at the time of booking.

If you or any of your guests have special dietary requirements, please advise us of this at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate their preferences.

Responsible Drinking

As a business it is our policy to encourage responsible drinking. We would refer you to Drink Aware's website for further information. Furthermore, it is a stipulation of the Licensing Act 2003 that we do not serve alcohol at our events to people who appear to be intoxicated. We are happy to arrange taxis for those who require them at the conclusion of our Tastings.

Liability

Wine Savvy has an insurance policy in place which covers liability for injury and Third-Party Property damage arising from a loss or damage, where it can be proved we have been negligent. No liability is accepted for failure of performance due to strike, lockout, hostilities or any other circumstances outside the Company’s control.

Data Protection Act

All personal details supplied will be used only by Wine Savvy and will be treated as confidential. We do not sell or supply information to any third party. Please advise us in writing if you would like your details removed from our database.
